This creature needs to drop sporks when killed, what do sporks do? Special Crockpot ingredient that makes food better quality, perhaps only Warly can use in his portable pot? Then again... that would be useless for every other character so idk.

The Roseate Sporkbill was scrapped from Hamlet, so I doubt that it'll ever be in DST.

Also...sporks are already in the game, yeah?

I don't think I've seen anyone mention the pigskin leather yet...

Because that looks to be an old scrapped design of the current pigskin:

Nope, it’s a new item that was added to the drying rack food anim.

Nope, not new, last updated January 12th, 2018.

Took me a moment to find out whether or not it was new. The pros of having an old laptop that had DST installed since 2016 is that I can more easily tell how old stuff is. :wilson_ecstatic:

Spoiler

I should probably just copy over all of the DS/T files onto my new computer for convenience... :wilson_curious:

Oh amazing! I have a mod in mind that will use them as part of a slight football helmet nerf...

It would be kinda neat to see them on the shores around Brine Shoals. Both as an indicator, and a handy resource in themselves.

I was thinking they could replace “Limpets” that could be gathered in Shipwrecked- they would hide on rocks like limpets but when plucked would reveal to be these pebble crabs, they would still of course provide the limpet food resource, they would just require chasing down, attacking and killing instead of simply plucking it off the boulder and going on your merry way.

I really miss the Gorge, it was definitely my favorite event. Were there any unused things from it or the Forge?

As far as I'm aware, no. It appears it was either meticulously planned out from the start, or they nicked and removed everything that wasn't being incorporated before they packed it up and shipped it out.

Also I also miss the Gorge, I really enjoyed the gameplay and tension. In addition to the fact that rounds were always kept short so even if you lost it wasn't a morale dashing blow like wasting spending 30 minutes in the Forge only to have everything go horribly wrong because it always goes horribly wrong.

Spoiler

...I never won a single match in Re:Forge after the GFB was unlocked. Oh, I've managed to defeat the GFB several times, but that was after the Rhinocebros were added, so all of that effort went right out the window. I stopped playing quickly after that, because I knew that I'd never be able to win a match and I didn't have the time available to sink into the grind.

Also the food looked so good it bordered on fetishistic!

That explains what the corset pig looks like.

Well I wasn't entirely sure what they'd look like...it was more of a "mix and match" affair. ^^;

You can rest assured that those lil crab buddies are getting added to Feast and Famine over the next month or so.

If there’s any particular Gorge food you’d like to see in game, let me know and I’ll see what I can do :D

Spoiler

Also...I noticed that Wolfgang has suddenly slipped into the "dynamic" folder.

Spoiler

And by suddenly I mean on Halloween.

Dunno if it's just me because the time of the change is oddly suspicious:

Nothing special, just a renamed zip file, change the extension from .dyn to .zip and you're good to go!

Also if someone could confirm or refute that this is actually a change and not just my computer messing with me I'd greatly appreciate it. :wilson_goodjob:

Well if you want the HD food...here you go:

quagmire_food.rar

The pizza, spaghet, fish n chips, jam sammich, and meat pie are all ones I particularly salivate over...

Spoiler

Numbers 57, 38, 4, 19 and 18 respectively.

Ordered by how much I wanna consume.

Klei is slowly changing a lot of assets into dyn files, Because they load only when needed to and supposedly load faster along with more benefits

But...it's not a dyn file, it's just a zip file.

In addition to that dyn files are zip files that have been encrypted, so in addition to having to decompress the file, the game also has to decrypt it upon being loaded...so it doesn't really make much sense with the explanation brought forth.

Also the build files for dyn are kept in a separate zip file in another directory and each build file is yet another zip file, instead of being clumped together in one snug file. Which adds yet another layer of decompression. It's not very efficient from what I can tell...but then again I know absolutely nothing about doing this sort of thing, so I could very well be pants on head stupid.
