deviever
Bug SubmissionPlease choose a category [Gameplay] Platform [*]SteamVersion Number 73726 Issue title SAVE GAMES GONE Steps to reproduce Turned off cloud sync, deleted the game, reinstalled it. Cloud sync still off. Played for a few hours. Save and Quit. Quit steam. Shutdown computer. Start computer. Start Steam. Start Don't Starve. All save games EMPTY. Describe your issue This is the third time it's happened. I've lost probably 10 hours of gameplay progress. The first time I thought it was a steam cloud sync issue. The second time I tried using IMPORT, and although it said it imported fine, the save games were still empty. The third time, while they were all EMPTY at first, they somehow came back after I shut down the computer a second time. This sever inconsistency in the ability to save the game is making the game fairly unplayable and not very enjoyable. cc405
Hi. I also have his problem ever since I FIRST STARTED THE GAME. I bought the game sunday night and have been obsessed with it, however my progress isn't cumulative and I'm beginning to get very very frustrated about it. Like above, I'm also losing interest in the game itself. I don't even have cloud sync, though. What's going on!?I'm running it off chrome on a mac computer. Version 73736HALP! Developer Kevin Posted February 28, 2013 Developer Share Posted February 28, 2013 devieverTwo questions:1) Are you on windows XP? I hope you say yes... (it would fit a steam cloud failure pattern)2) Did you turn off steam cloud in the ini file? Doing through the interface doesn't actually turn it off, because steam cloud is kinda stupid that way.
