all saved data gone

Steps to reproduce

I just booted up the game and it updated itself to the "winters tale" update. When i pressed play the game started me in a new game automatically without any prompt to continue existing game or any other option.

Describe your issue

Saved files no longer exist on boot up other players are experiencing the same or similar problems.
