Game crashes when attempting to open a crockpot

When attempting to open a crock pot, the game immediately crashes. I had the mods "Geometric placement" and "Seasonal Clock" installed, but have tried to open crackpots without these mods and have the same issue. I have tried reinstalling twice, validating the game files through steam, and creating new world and spawning in new crock pots to use. Every time I go to use the crock pot it crashes before even displaying the crock pot HUD.

My wife is experiencing the same issue with her game. Same issue in log / crash screen - calling setstring on bad self, expecting a string, getting a table. I've sent email to Klei with the details. I was thinking it might be because she leaves the game on constantly; if there's an update, maybe her save file doesn't get updated if it's open. But I'm not overly technical, so I don't really know.

Me as well.  Removed mod SeasonText, same thing.  Crash on opening of crock.  Reported via in-game bug tracker.

Same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling, new worlds, etc...nothing seems to fix it. Huge bummer.

I was playing in my day 160+ world in RoG and I'm repeatedly getting this error when using a crockpot... I thought it was one of my mods that started acting up just now for some reason but I guess it's an issue with the game.
