Hello World.
I know that it's possible to Unlock recipies for your modded characters. 

inst.components.builder:UnlockRecipe("amulet")

inst.components.builder:UnlockRecipe("amulet")

But is there a way to do the opposite? I wish for my character to not be able to craft a science machine (researchlab) or an alchemy engine (researchlab2)?

You can extend CanBuild in the builder-component, and before you run the original CanBuild, you check the recipe name for one of those two recipes, and if it's one of them, return false.

I'm not sure how much of the game will "look" right, as in, it might LOOK like you can build them, but this should prevent you from actually building them.
