»»» Here is now my first release of "Young Beefalo". It can be and will be your strongest companion in your journey if you protect him, feed him with berries, or plant things or wood, grass, care him! it's a very young beefalo baby when he get's in trouble he fight for his life and will focus anyone which hits him or his owner. Of course he have some favorite enemy's like Spiders or Tentacles etc.

NEWS:

  • WIP: "Standalone" Version of the Young Beefalo without the required: "Youngbeefalo Homesign" & "Younghorn".

HOW TO GET THE YOUNGBEEFALO:

1. Find the "Younghorn".

(Where: Spiderqueen, Spiderhole, Graves, Deerclops, Monkeys and Monkeybarrels)

2. Build a "Youngbeefalo Homesign" and place it somewhere on the ground.

3. Now wait some seconds and the "Youngbeefalo" will spawn near to you.

4. Have Fun & Enjoy

» Growing Stages: Gets Bigger, Stronger and Older in 4 Stages.

Mine keeps crashing :/ something about newbrain "sg" being nil. I would post my log.txt but i don't know how to.

just download the correct version: "YoungBeefalo 1.02 -untested-.zip".

 

 

btw. check your dont starve version and the mod version before you want to use.

it was just your fault not my :razz:

i cant get the baby beefalo i found a 2 baby beefalos but there not my pets and whats a young horn is it a beefalo horn

Hello! I installed "YoungBeefalo 1.02 -untested-.zip" and my game crashed as soon as I hit apply. I made sure I had no other mods enabled when I tried to enable this one. My game is also patched to the most recent update. Any feedback?

hello @ObeyElisia,

 

i think it's the version, mod is not updated yet. could you share me with your latest log.txt "appdata/username/dont starve\". then i can look what causes the issue. :)

I only find the beefalo horn,is it?

I''m having the same problem... Get the horn but no means to build the sign... even got up all the pieces and still nothing pops up in any tab of the crafting for the beefalo sign
