Bugged world generation when adding cave tasks

Hello,

I am trying to fix the "Advanced World Generation" mod by Déjà Vu. (Mod Link

One of the goals of this mod is to add cave biomes on the surface. He created a new TaskSet where he manually put the Forest and Cave tasks in worldgenmain.lua. This works but for some reason, the biomes arrangement looks very weird:

I can't tell exactly what is wrong, but these maps are not fun to play on.

- The center of the map is full of long and thin paths that serve no gameplay purpose.

- The world feels too linear, biomes are rarely connected to more than 2 other biomes unlike in the normal world generation.

 

Do you have any idea of what can be wrong ?
