disies
I read that you can trap giants or vargs in there. The obelisks come up when you get close but I haven't tried it. The obelisks go down when you leave them which can cause the varg to escape. After trapping it you could seal it with normal stone walls and farm the hounds. I think it looks cool. In my current world it is right south of my base but after a while it gets on my nerves hearing the sound of the obelisks when walking past it.. TheTraditionalGentleman
Destroy the pig house and turn it into a gosh dang fortress. That sucker will be nigh on impregnable! The obelisks will obviously change depending on your sanity, but if you were to use a good quality wall (thucelite or moon rock) you could wall off part of the obelisks, and use the other part as a sort of gate, using cooked and raw green mushrooms to open/close it. So you can cower from monster attacks in style
mrxarous
Save that world no matter what I love that setpiece in single player and have yet to see it in DST. I've created A LOT of worlds and over 1k-1.3k (counting consoles/PC) hours in DST.
