Kasuha Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 The idea is, current mechanical airlock opens fast even when unpowered, and powering it up only brings access rights option which is not very useful in most cases. What about that when the airlock is powered, instead of opening and closing like it does now, it would let a dupe through while not letting any gas pass? The animation could show it e.g. rotating around vertical axis, as if the dupe passes through a revolving door. When unpowered it would work the same way it does now.
