Pika2
When you set up an area for the shower and lavatory, and you don't want duplicates taking the water from the area, you cant stop them, sealing it off does not work since there are repairs needed for the pump and the wires and instead of having to time and time again break a tile and repair, it would be much easier to stop them from going there. Masterpintsman
You can build powered airlocks, on these you can configure on a per-duplicant basis who can pass. Or build any type of door and lock it.
Fitz000
If you don't want to go through the pain of setting up the locks, just set tiles to block their path to travel. Once you have water recycling set up, and you don't want the water touched, there's no reason to have a ladder down into that water anymore. remove it slowly going backwards.
