Dont starve bosses activate

Well me and my friend startet a map and turned off als bosses

and i wantet to ask if a can activate them so its default and not none

Assuming you mean you want the bosses to spawn like they normally would, but you want to keep the world.

As far as I'm aware, you can't do that through normal means. You can, however always spawn the bosses manually with the console (opened by hitting the ~ key).

I believe it should be also possible via modifying a given file of that world (like worldoverride.lue, or something like that), but  I haven't done tried to do so yet.
