Cunning fox
Hey everyone! I'm trying to make a widget, that'll show up when some event in the world is pushed. I've made a widget using savindicator.lua, but I don't know how to add it to the player, and how should I open it on some event. Does anybody knows how to do it? Thanks for your replies! I can give you elegant skin, if someone'll help me! My mod is riiiight here: widget.rar Edited May 15, 2017 by makar5000

Lampofulmine
@makar5000 I'm not a DST modder but my team and I did implement a new widget on DS/DLCs. What I can tell you is that instead of basing ours on widget, we based our on a badge. In order to "connect" it to the player we added a few lines of code in a postinit section (which you don't appear to have) where we used the sim.lua to directly attach it to player and the player.lua to call for events and such... Hope this helps !
mrboosch
@makar5000 @Lampofulmine I have successfully created a widget. I, too, based mine off of badge - and I used netvars to pop the data to it. You should be able to pull down the Tak the Goblin mod to see it, and if you cant, let me know and we can connect via steam.
