Wormerine
Returned to ONI for the first time after the Thermal Update. I wanted to warm up my water supply to grow the Reed for clothing. I connected it to a large battery with a thermo switch between to keep the temperature in check. The tepidizer claims to have no power, thermo switch claims that the wire is disconnected. I thought that maybe regular wire can't support the needed power so I rebuild the entire network using Heavi-Watt wire. Same result. What am I doing wrong? Kasuha
Check how warm is the water right around the tepidizer. I think it only goes up to 80 C or so, then it will switch itself off.
Wormerine
No, the water was around 22C, and the regulator was set between 25C-40C. I rebuilt wiring around the power generater so it goes directly to the battery and from the battery to the tepidizer. I also deconstructed the regulator. One of those helped. I will try to rebuild the regulator to see if it will work now Only now my poor dupe isn't able to generate enough energy to feed the heater:-)
Wormerine
ok I know what I did wrong. I though that the thermo switch sets low and high limits for the desired temperature. Due to bad settings it disabled the heater.
