Tool for Mass Wire/Pipe Replacement

It would be handy to Mass change the Wiring from standard to High voltage (or vice versa)

You could select the area you’re looking to change by dragging a box over it.

They would then dismantle the wiring and replace it with whatever type you have chosen, this would also be handy for piping as well.

I would be happy when the material of the replaces thing wouldn't be lost.

I think the grid overload system needs a more substantial change, something where normal and heavy wire have different purpose, not just one being a more durable version of the other. Something like that you build local grids with normal wire, and a distribution network with the heavy wire - allowing to have centralized power generation, but not supporting energy transfer between local grids. Then you would not need to replace your standard wire network with heavy wire.

In this post I make some suggestions that should stabilize a larger power grid while also not needing to replace mass amounts of wire when you grid starts to overload.
