Mencken
Just started experimenting with this, without someone calling the birds with a book it takes a while. With boomerangs I usually can farm them twice a day (too long). I first tried tentacles but they eventually die from the Krampus (had someone assisting me at that point). Then I moved right next to my base and was surprised to discover that Krampus sets off tooth traps. So no need to chase, or use tentacles, they die very quickly. Would loot surrounded by a wall make them hang out forever? Thanks!
Electroely
It should make them stay until a bird frees their soul be dropping a seed or flint closer to them than the walled item is while they sleep.

CutChemist
Bunny farms seem to be the best if solo, need enough to spawn Krampus once or day or double them if you want more spawn.
