kulas
The coal generator has been acting up. Can't find a way to keep it cool. List of things I did. Put in ice biome, with wheezewort plants - fail Used airconditioning - fail Airconditioning with wheezeworts - fail last try was used gold for generator + lots of wheezewort + ice in storage - fail (see screenshot)http://imgur.com/pcYwkPL

heckubis
you could just drip room temperature contaminated water on to a gold geny sitting on a mesh a gas permeable and another mesh
Falcahtas
It isn't entirely obvious by the temperature display but water seems to be cold even if it is like room temperature. Dupes will indicate they are in a chilly environment when in non hot water. Just put a liquid vent over the coal generator and it will stop overheat as long as the floor the generator is on is damp. Good place to put a supercomputer too if you can deal with CO2 because they overheat too.
Jimmota
You just have to build your coal generator from wolframite in the ice biome and it should work just fine. Also i recommend to put a scrubber close to it. It works for me.
