Day 100

Wew lads,

Finally got to day 100. What a ride it has been.

Let this serve as a general tips and tricks thread - also how far have you gotten? Screen shot base setup if you want!

What has worked for me:
- Limit population to 6-8
- Use the Electrolizer for oxygen (primary)
- Algae plants secondary (3, lamp, 3 setup)
- Algae Deoxidizer as a means to pump huge amounts of O2 into an area (keep it off most of the time)
- Big power storage 3 or so big batteries
- Lots of power wheels so they can fill power storage fast
- Co2 scrubber at lower level
- 15-20 food plants
- Self sustaining shower and washroom (bad on power usage but saves water)

That's generally the key tips I can offer. I accidently killed my smile puffer guy by letting his escape into my base (died of heat issues...)

Got about 30-40 days of water left.. End is coming

Vomit is the key. Electrolizer sucks, because of that water consumption. The best way imo is to use morb and puft to convert CO2 into Slime -> Algae&Water -> oxygen. But its a bit problematically to use puft.

Make a well with a 3 tile walls and start digging around, the world is full of contaminated water!

Passed cycle 800 without any issues. Dupes are now level 40+ runners and 20+ diggers/constructors, and get stressed out easily but it's no major concern, and when they're idling in base it goes down to max 2-3%. Base will easily last another 5000 cycles with the current set up but I'm trying to improve their living conditions.
