I had the Starver's Carol stuck in my head while playing DST, and I, uh... wrote something.

Of hunger, darkness, and death

Our hapless heroes none other than
Yours truly and GiddyGuy
Sought out a cave camp far to the north
Only to screw up and die

The camp, you see, had a beacon that called
A moonlense that shone so blue
But in between, a treacherous maze
No sign of which path was true

In muddy field that seemed so off-course
North-West, but beacon North-East
Did Abigail set her sights upon
Two wandering shelly beasts

Our heroes set upon their foes
But what for?  Glory or fame?

He retreated again underground

But died alone in the empty camp
For the shadows had pursued

And no, I don't hear any similarity to No One Is There  Sounds more like the verses from Voltaire's Cemetery Song, if you ask me...
