ITEMS New and Edited

Recommended Posts

This mod adds several new items and edits a few existing ones, as well as changing what Monst3r offers for sale. I intend that this mod be used with the Contingency Plan DLC, but I added conditionals that may allow it to run with the vanilla game. Whenever possible, new/copied code was created for each new item. There will be compatibility issues with other item mods that edit the DLC items, and some code functions I needed to edit may conflict.

New Items:

Spoiler

Ventricular Lance II - IV

  • Gives the agent more attacks in one turn. Higher tiers increase the Armor Pierce. Requires the Strength skill.

Biogenic DART (no Armor Pierce)

  • As the title, lower tier DART with no armor pierce.

Portable Router

  • Deploys like the Portable Server. Reduces one random firewall per turn, but won't break them.

Cloaking Field

  • As Cloaking Rig III, but cloaks nearby agents in range. Has 2 charges and requires Speed 4 and Anarchy 4.

Hunter Chip

  • Agent can kill Daemons in adjacent mainframe devices.

Velocity Chip

  • Use at a console to get both PWR and AP for the agent.

Econ Chip II

  • An improved and more expensive Econ Chip.

Concussive EMP Pack

  • Knocks out both mainframe devices and living guards.

Augment - Combat Boost

  • All attacks give the agent 3 AP. Ventricular Lance II - IV

Edited Items:

Spoiler

Ventricular Lance I

  • Refreshes agent's attack. Requires Strength 2.

Neural Disruptor IV

  • Remove the charge, -1 Armor Pierce

Volt Disruptor IV

  • Remove the charge, -1 Armor Pierce

Thermal Disruptor III-IV

  • Remove the charge, rebalanced with the other Disruptors

Piercing Biogenic DART

  • Renamed to allow non-piercing version.

Prototype Chip

  • Increased the maximum storage power.

Monst3r:

  • May offer an Econ Chip on the first day, and better items as days progress.
  • No longer offers Lock Decoders, Camera Canisters, or any single-use grenade.

Change Log:

Spoiler

1.0

  • Publishing of mod

1.1

  • Reshuffled the itemdefs to ensure that DLC items get overwritten. In my experience, mods will conflict when they use these kinds of functions.
