You guys thought of that when you were generating your pathfinding algorithms? Every time I think I have a handle on the amount of diverse solutions possible, some wrinkle shows up that reveals something I didn't know the game would let me do... and that's what I love about this game. Nxf7 Posted November 19, 2016 Share Posted November 19, 2016 I think in this situation it was a map generation bug, the game usually tries to give an alternative route to go around a laser fence. But it was convenient there was still a way to progress. This could have been a whole lot worse. If there was no guards within noise range you would be out of luck and be forced to skip turns until they started hunting at alarm level 5. Also one thing the OP didn't do was stand adjacent to the nanofab and peek, would have seen the whole back wall of that room. The power supply might have been there.
