Is there any way to have DST skins replace character textures in DS?

Just to clarify: I don't mean "Is it possible to use DST skins in DS?" I'm asking if it's possible to take skin textures from DST, and have them replace the textures for character in regular, solo Don't Starve. Any information on this would be helpful.

Hmm, you could try replacing the files, though I'm pretty sure skins have their own names (like wathgrithr_formal instead of wathgrithr) so you'd have to rename them. Though I'm sure it's possible!

its not that easy, Klei purposely made skins have a different format, that only KLEI themselves can open as of now, and I don't believe DS has the same code to be able to read these files.
