Help! Game no longer launches on Steam!

Recommended Posts

I would have posted this in the bug forum, but the forum keeps denying me access there. I had been able to play the game fine until last night when the game stopped launching for me. I have tried validating local files, then I tried re-downloading and installing the game to no avail. When I click play in Steam, a new window briefly appears and "running" appears next to Invisible Inc in my Steam library, but then it closes and the "running" part disappears. I checked the log and I get the following repeated endlessly which seems to be part of the problem:

Have you any Mods installed? Try uninstalling them. Just delete the Mod folder in the Invisible Inc folder

Thanks, that seems to have worked. I did have mods installed, and I didn't realize that re-installing wouldn't reset those mods as well.
