How far do puddles spread in Shipwrecked?

An entire island covered in man-made turfs would most likely stop all flood spawns, although tides could still be a minor problem in areas which were previously "beach" biomes.

I'd recommend Wooden Flooring.

Update 1: Covering even a medium-sized island took 678 wooden turfs (2712 logs), The optimal island to cover in wood would be a tiny island with no beaches. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=622610956

Update 2: The island I covered in wood has no flooding after a few days during Monsoon Season. Other nearby islands however, were mostly covered in floods.

Conclusion: The idea works, however it would only be practical on a small-scale.
