Does the ninja have a name, and if not can it be "Mark"

Quoting the Mark of the Ninja wiki, "The Marked Ninja, or the Champion, is the chosen ninja to protect the Hisomu Clan and the main protagonist of Mark of the Ninja. The Ninja's real name and origins are never revealed in the game, but it was known that he was trained by Azai and made a deal with him to protect the clan. The Marked Ninja is often aided by a female ninja assassin named Ora."

 

So yes, he has no name.

And I dunno if they'd ever give him an official name... probably not, though. :/

As far as I am aware, he has no official name. We often refer to him as "Mark" internally. So, yes. But not officially.
