Issue Title: Can't start server?

Issue Description: When I am trying to run my own server it just stays stuck on the "generating world" screen forever and ever : / I tried turning off all of my mods. I even tried deleting them and resubscribing. I have tried setting the server to public as well as friends only. Tried deleting and recreating the server several times.

When I tried joining my friend's server there was no problem. My friend also had no problem making a new server.

Steps to Reproduce: Using steam and Mac OS 10.9.2 on a 15inch retina display laptop.

@gamingfatcat, firstly welcome to the forums. Have you also tried verifying your game cache? If that doesn't work, attach the log file in your next reply that should be under  ~Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether. I'm not sure if its the same for the Mac OS but it should definitely be under the Klei folders.
 
You can attach files to your post by clicking More Reply Options at the bottom right of the reply box at the bottom of this page. You'll see Choose File and browse for the log file in your system, and then click Attach This File. The file should pop-up under the words Attach Files. Now click Add Reply. If you aren't allowed to attach files yet, you can instead just copy and paste all the lines inside the log file and enclose them in spoiler tags. which looks like this:

To mention another member in your post so that they can be notified about it is to highlight a portion of their text post and the button @Mention will appear, clicking this will auto-generate the mentioning code for your reply. Or a simple quote would do.

 

Anyway, I'm on windows so I'm still trying to find ways to be able to convert osx text files to windows text files. You did say however that it looks like you're not the only one, but have you seen this post here by Felix in the steam forums? They claim that that it solved the stuck on world generation issue.

 

Also, are you creating servers via "Host Game" in-game? I just wanted to make sure were on the same page. Cheers.

I am using Host Game.  Creating a new preset seems to have worked.  Kind of a pain, though, so while it's a good temporary solution, I'm hoping for something less... workaround-y in the future.  Still... it'll do for now!

(I think that is what I read above) My existing game will not load, same thing just says loading forever (happened today the first time I opened DST and it asks what type of server this is so theres been an update so I have not been able to load it post this update) I was however able to start a new server, I am under the HOST section.

 

I am basically illiterate when it comes to this stuff, but don't want to lose the game I have 450 "days" logged. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Dont think I can start another game will just wait for shipwrecked if I cant resume this one.

@daduhweewah, yeah, that happens if  you press Post/Add Reply a bunch of times while the page is loading(your browser is sending your post). If you're on google chrome, you can see the loading icon appear on the top left of the tab. Anyways, I don't know how much help I can be but sure post your log file. If I can't find what's wrong maybe people who know better will see what I can't.

 

I'd recommend you first try and verify the game cache of DST, if you're not sure how here's the instruction. Cheers.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look at it, I will check out the cache afterwards and thank you for the link. The log file is kind of long, but here it is. Feel like I should have saved yesterdays, and I bet it is due to mods, I have the on status mod lighter logs seasonal start stacks and one other basic kind of mod.

90% sure I know the problem, the WorldGen mod that adds caves above ground doesnt work with the latest update. I can make a new game without this mod but not with.... And the game I had involved this mod.  If that isnt the problem Ill check back here later to see but for now I am pretty sure that is the issue.

Anyway, from the looks of it I think you are right. If you really want to play that game which adds caves to the overworld. I'll suggest that you wait for that mod's main modder to update it to function with the updated version of DST.
