KitcheVadimas
So, in DS, a bee box, or hell, just flowers spawning butterflies will generate new flowers over time. Everybody knows this. But in DST, I had a person pick all but 2 flowers near the bee box during summer for a pretty parasol. I watched the flowers all summer. They did not multiply. Is this a bug, or something the developers did on purpose?

Butterflies don't spawn flowers either unless you catch and plant them yourself. This is information that is present on the wiki. Also, you posted this in the DST subforum. Tumalu
On the upside, flowers should naturally spawn in spring. You may need to hang out vaguely near the area, though. (Like within a few screenwidths of it)

Assuming you've started in autumn you should be beefed up to the point bees do nothing to you.

The amounts of them that you would have in the bee hive cluster would make your armour go out in seconds and the occasional stun makes it even worse. I noticed a distinct difference in the number of flowers butterflies spawned between DS and DST, although this may have been under different circumstances. And I have watched butterflies make flowers in DS.
