Settemio
Bug Submission: Category: General Platform: PC Issue Title: Prism Disguise Failure Issue Description: I know there are already a few of these reports, especially with regards to cameras. This is one where Prism's disguise failed when she moved into a covered square. Steps to Reproduce: Not sure if it always applies in these scenarios, but here's what may be relevant: Prism activated her disguise, moved undetected past a guard, closing a couple of doors behind her. She then entered a square that was within a guard's cone of vision but covered (yellow). That square was on a diagonal from the guard observing it, but that guard was facing that diagonal, so if the cover hadn't been there I would have expected her disguise to fail. It's only that the cover was there that makes this a bug. Also, I doubt this was relevant, but I'm pretty sure Prism entered that square on the diagonal, from a point that was visible to the same guard. warfreak2
I had something similar happen, and figured it was a bug: the guard walked past Prism who was in a covered square, deactivated her disguise but didn't notice her. Logically, if disguised Prism doesn't use cover then the guard should reveal her disguise and then notice her (or see her and go onto overwatch). Settemio
Guards don't use cover. Prism in disguise doesn't use cover.Oh, I hadn't thought of that. So this isn't a bug report, more of a "huh, that's weird" report. Should it work like that? If her disguise fails, shouldn't it be because a guard has recognized that she's not a guard? Shouldn't he go into alert mode, or at least investigate the square where her disguise was spotted? Or, should the fact that there's a cover object in the way, even if she can't really use cover while she's disguised, mean that the guard can't see her well enough to break her disguise?
