satuisaburda
First of all I want to make a custom character, And one of this characters downsides is the inability to chop down trees. How would i make him unable to interact with trees or take an insane amount of hits to chop down a tree?
ZupaleX
Remove the ACTIONS.CHOP when playing with this character.
satuisaburda
How would i remove something like that?
ZupaleX
you could just replace ACTIONS.CHOP.fn by some empty function which "return" directly, or return after a small speech "I cannot attack tree for this reason and that reason and I love nature and blah". satuisaburda
Actually do you know the event when a tree is hit by an axe? inst:ListenForEvent("working",function() inst.components.sanity:DoDelta(-10) end) This works but also effects mining. Mobbstar
Actually do you know the event when a tree is hit by an axe? inst:ListenForEvent("working",function() inst.components.sanity:DoDelta(-10) end) This works but also effects mining. Look at "Strom the Tree" for a better execution of this approach.
