zootal
This worked fine until the last update. Now, I can no longer connect to the LAN server running on the same machine. I get this: Server only allows local connections. Last week I could connect just fine. I updated the server, and now I get this. This is a mature world that has been running for many works, and I've been playing on it just fine. I did not update anything except the server. All settings remain the same. Nothing else has changed. No, I don't have ports forwarded. This is a LAN server. It doesn't need ports forwarded, and has never had ports forwarded. I say this because in the forums I keep seeing people go on and on about port forwarding. This is a LAN server. No ports need to be forwarded. Local players only. Slackware 14.1 64 bit. Whatever version of the server that was current as of 8/30/2015 at 8:30 am is what I'm using.
zootal
This worked fine until the last update. Now, I can no longer connect to the LAN server running on the same machine. I get this: Server only allows local connections.<snip> So apparently this was a bug introduced in the update, because they fixed it with the last update. "Fixed bug where LAN only servers were not accepting connections...." Now it works!
