  • Fixed Windows XP crash on boot.

Hell.. about time! :D

if it's working as it should, doesn't have the extra bling bling, no bloatware, shitware and so on, why should I update? Just for the sake of updating to a newer version? No thanks.

Until this and/or any other game I play will no longer support and work on XP so will have no choice but update, I for one will stick with this outdated OS as is.

I have a question: How many people still use Windows XP?

I know many people who are always on windows xp, the majority do not play video games or very little, it remains an efficient and convenient system when you use old software or old games

(Off topic sorry.) I respect that you have a preference for Windows XP. It was a very solid OS and in some ways the only reason that Microsoft stopped support was to make more money selling new versions. I am concerned though that you are risking a lot by using Windows XP considering that it doesn't get security updates any more. This is going to be a bigger and bigger risk as time goes on. Hopefully you have a rock solid anti virus program that still supports Windows XP and receives updates. I don't know you and your situation and appreciate that you still like Windows XP. I do encourage you to upgrade though (perhaps to Windows 7 or even Windows 10 as it looks to be OK too) to protect yourself from unwittingly becoming part of a botnet or finding yourself stung by fraud or identity theft. These are still possible on newer OS versions but are much more likely on Windows XP.

Excellent. I don't think that there is anything wrong much with Windows 8. :joyous: There are others using Windows XP though and I encourage them to upgrade.

Please bring back BIG FOOT bouncer.gif

I doubt that... That would be an utmost griefing weapon such as killing people by a campfire at night in non pvp servers or destroying base . How to implement it? If you disable killing other players and destroying base option, this time that item would be ridiculous.

Instead of big foot, it may be replaced by a weapon that creates gale. Maybe this time instead of physically bringing big foot, he can shout from far away which creates a gale or tornado that destroys only trees on its way (so it would be an easy tool for log farming) or can damage the giants (only giants) by certain amount.

Looks like XP is now going to be the cancer IE6 was.

I think people making new games should stop support for XP. It's not too bad, but it's 14 years old, getting Windows 7 or 8 would be much more beneficial.

It's not like IE6, but it's similiar to it, and also how game consoles used to use Power PC computers. Which was changed in the switch over to the current generation of consoles.
