Seriously now I've put maybe about 9 hours plus into cave exploration and I get nothing but crashes and errors when I want to resurface. I've read that it's possible for a cave to corrupt a save and make it not possible to resurface. I've spent maybe about 30+ days in a cave only going topside twice before I settle in the caves, but when I want to go back up it's loading....loading....loading....loa....CRASH! Strangely enough my first cave exploration didn't go so badly. I was able to go and come as I please and the longest time I spent down my first one was maybe about 15 days to wait out spring due to the rain causing my game to crash along with the autosave.
