Bow, Quiver & Arrows

Well i suggest that you add a bow.

Science machine - 1 log + 1 rope 100 uses, Reload delay of 1 second, with 3 stages to shot 1 second same distance as a boomerang, 2 seconds 2x boomerang distance and 3 seconds 3x boomerang distance

 

Arrows: Every combo will produce 2 arrows

Science machine

Normal Arrow - 1 twig + 1 rock - 30 dmg - stacks to 40

Golden Arrow - 1 twig + 1 gold - 50 dmg - stacks to 20

Poison Arrow - 1 twig + 3 stingers - 10 dmg + poison effect

Alchemy Engine

Fire Arrow - 1 twig + red gem - 20 dmg + burn effect - stacks to 20

Ice Arrow - 1 twig + blue gem - 20 dmg + freeze effect - stacks to 20

Explosive Arrow - 1 twig + gunpowder - explosive AoE 100 dmg - stacks to 10 - with an area of 2 bushes

Shadow Manipulator

Light Arrow 1 twig + 1 purple gem - 70 dmg to shadows only - stacks to 10 

 

Quiver 8 slots for arrows only, Science Machine 6 grass + 4 twigs

 

And of course that must be for all platforms.

I think the bow should be a little harder to get. Maybe alchemy engine and charcoal. And the damage seems a bit high on the arrows as well.

I think the same about damage, that's why the balance would be on the time for reload and aiming, it would be good to fight against 2-3 mobs but agaist a horde of hounds on 100+ days it wouldn't be so useful, and against giants you could hit them maybe a fewer times than with a close range weapon. About the materials it could be living log or a living board - alchemy engine for make it harder to get.
