ElazahBlazah
I just got this game a few days ago and found out it just came out for IOS/Android. I play DS on IOS more since i can play with it on the go. Im still a begginer so I still dont know a lot about the game. I just know the basics. I want to explore all of the game but i always die at 15-26 days. I somehow always find a "living tree" and everywhere i go, it follows me. I just want a peaceful world. I wish there was a option where you can turn of hostile creatures. If its not monsters that kill me, its sanity. There should be something like a bed in the game so i can sleep through the night or respawn in if i die. These are my thoughts on this game so far and suggestions. Kzisor
@ElazahBlazah, to pasify Treeguards plant pinecones. Look in survival tab 'rope' tab for tentor sleeping bag to sleep in.
Mobbstar
If you're talking about the creepy trees, they aren't following you, they're just plentyful. If you go away, the sanity impact stops too. If you talk about leifs, walking tree guards, then you're best off getting some support by other creatures such as pigmen or hounds. Mid-combat just run away and the leif will forget you forever (or until you anger him again). Also, you might find herbs or alike you can boil to restore sanity Dancing naked in the rain and picking flowers helps too.
SoupyDelicious
Jesus christ. The biggest part of this game's satisfaction is the hardcore surviving and planning. Why the hell did they release this for the most casual bloody platform? Madness.
Thieverpedia
You can change world settings before you generate a world and there's a bedroll for sanity. If a hardcore survival game isn't for you, then you probably shouldn't play it much. But if you give into the game, you'll find that it becomes a lot easier once you learn more about it. Quyzbuk
It DOES have that setting, just turn off treeguard spawns and whatever other monsters you don't want when you create your world, simple. Considering how easy treeguards are to fight though, and the fact you need the living wood for your high tier magic equipment, you might want to actually learn how to fight them (which I'll save you the trouble, dodge attack, strike 3-4 times, rinse and repeat). Really though, at least go through options provided instead of immediately coming to the forums.
RedRock911
but i always die at 15-26 days. That's pretty darn good! When I first started I lasted overnight....then I got to about 5-6 days for about a week or so. Part of the fun, is losing....but losing at day
