Lureplant eyes have a number limit?

I'm worrying about a lureplant near my base. The eye are increasing in number. Have they a limit?

Yes, although I don't know what the max is.

They're really a pain to have near your base, especially if they overlap your farm plots or berry bushes. The good thing is the eyes disappear in winter, so it's easy to kill them then. Pigmen are pretty good at killing them (the eyes), too. The eyes CAN be helpful though, you can lead spiders and hounds to them. Just don't get too close yourself.

Pro tip: Eyeplants can't spawn on occupied or infertile space.

It's pretty easy to kill them too.

 

Go to the outermost eye, hit it a couple of times, move in, forming a path by killing eyes directly to the centre.

Unequip your weapon and grab the meat lure. Then spear the central bulb until it dies.

Lureplants are located on the certain territory with the certain radius of spawn of eyes. They can't spawn eyes out of that radius and on the occupied ground in this radius

Eyeplant eyes can't grow on flooring, so surround it with wooden boards and you can use it as a meat lure farm. After you've picked it up if it's in a bad place, that is.
