Invisible, Inc. Release Date Reveal Trailer

And off we go! I mentioned in my last post about all the things we’ve been working on, and now we can proudly say that we are launching in just under a month, on May 12, 2015.

Here is a recap of what’s happening:
  • Invisible, Inc., our 3rd Steam Early Access game, is officially launching on May 12, 2015, supporting PC / Mac / Linux on Steam and DRM-free on our own website.
  • Starting today, Early-Access sales will no longer be available. We want everyone to experience the game in its fully realized version when it launches. If you already own the Early-Access version, you can of course continue playing the development build.
  • There are an incredible amount of changes since our last update, including fully-animated 3D cinematics (all done in-house), new agents, programs, augments, game modes, and more.
In addition to the above, today we're also announcing that we will be bringing Invisible, Inc. to the PS4! We have no set date for that as of yet, but it’s already in-progress.

Finally, here are some tasty new screenshots:

It's been available on Early Access for a very long time. I'm surprised this trailer would finally tip over anyone who hasn't already bought it.

I'm not sure why you would be surprised given that just before you posted someone has said this exactly.

I've been aware of the game for a while but the trailer generated news articles that made me check it out again, hence the interest.

To be fair, there looks to be SO MUCH MORE now that there's a release date attached.

I bought it in early access, played the hell out of it, realized that I needed to wait for them to add their finishing touches (story, more characters, polish, etc).

Now that they've done that, it looks even more amazing.  Why wouldn't someone who was on the fence about the bare bones that were in place before be tipped over the edge by these new developments?

The game was fun, but it lacked any real story, which some of us actually enjoy in our games.

I hope to see the soundtrack soon!

Edit: Also... when did Deckard's name suddenly became Decker? Is that his name now? Or was that just a minor error in the trailer?

You're right.  How did you notice that?  Anyway, I'm sort of hoping it's an error, but who knows?

Right, and those people would see the trailer, buy the game, and go "Meh, this was what I saw in those YouTube videos and it wasn't my thing."

Hm, I don't know. Maybe the voiceover isn't actually part of that cutscene. I do like Incognita's more gender-ambiguous new look, though. Albeit the character thread says M0nst3r is part of the narrative, rather than just an in-game mechanic, so you might be right.

Ok, I just want to show you some things you've might not seen.

1. Guards Vision shows you now savezones. There is already an prototype in the current build.

2. In the top right corner, you see what coparation you Infiltrate and what kind of mission it is.

3. Is tht PRISM in the first screenie?

4. Since Incognita gets "her" own characterscreen, we might be able to store and buy/sell programs from M0nst3r

5. The Storage is only 4 slots, nooooooo

6.Klei cheated to get atleast some of the screens, or there are a lot more Custom Options than in the currently Dev mode.

Interesting, is Shopcat appearence changed too or not and what happened with walls on second screenshot?

I think this is an option to activate, since you cant scroll into the game currently without seeing a lot of walls, so you have a better sight with this

Edit: I hope Klei is going to give us more information atleast every week, even if it is just simple things like 1 or 2 of the new themes from FTM or K&O which we will instantly hear when we enter the first missions. 4 weeks can be quite a while.

Edit 2: Secret "Safe" in screen 1

I was trying on/off safezones in current build, and can't understand, is it something different from "purple tiles" like in tutorial? or it's just coloured differently?  oh, like at screenshot, okay

about 4 slots, maybe there will be 4 storage slots exclusively for software?

also "default" music for early access missions called "FTMtheme" or like that

I suppose that's a possibility.

I know that I personally put it aside to wait for the actual story to be added, though.  I haven't watched any Youtube videos about it or anything like that.

Now there's a rival firm, more companies, new characters (I have waited SO long for an Archive Nika), character rebalancing, new enemies, etc.
