Map Size

This game is awesome. One of the best aspects is exploring the maps whilst trying to survive. We constantly find that once the map is explored the excitement ends. Game becomes more a routine than an adventure past this point.

Although ruins/caves and new biomes are coming for much needed diversity, i think the game would greatly benefit from much larger map size.

You can change the map size in your world settings before you start the server. IIRC, the default is "Large", and you can still bump it up to "Huge".

 

If you want different layouts or unique maps, you can check out a mod called More Maps.

yea we do play the huge size map - be good if it was bigger!
