Tranibro's Art:

Recommended Posts

The ask blog has been going really well. It's been a lot of fun to do.

I thought I would put a comic I made for it up here.

It's the first comic I've done digitally ever.

Also I made this for myself on my birthday on May 20th.

-apparently something about a mod for DS maybe-

Just some cute art. Nothing super special.

Waiwhat you're only 15 and can draw that well? I applaud you sir.

Agreed, I'm very impressed! Not that age should necessarily mean anything in relation to skill, but it's always nice to see young artists making good use of such talents! I'm 19 myself (going on 20 in roughly 2 months) and I didn't start using a tablet until I was about your age, but my skills didn't really pick up until the last 2 years. I love the style, the line work, and the colours. Top job!

I'm assuming you use a tablet since the appearance of the art suggests so, do you find it easier/better to use a tablet or to draw on paper? I found that my line-work is usually stronger on paper, but digital allows me to correct mistakes and makes colouring so much easier. (also what tablet do you use, just out of my own pure curiosity?)

I use a Intuous Pen, nothing super fancy.

In regards to your other question, I love digital art when it comes to coloring, lining, and just being all around cleaner looking and having the options correct mistakes easily. But I'm better with traditional art  when it comes to anatomy and blood/gore stuff. I love both in their own way, but I have to say I enjoy digital a bit more.

EDIT: duh, see above

Art block Wes, requested by a few followers.

I've never drawn Wes before but I think I like how this turned out.

Wes looks a bit noble like this. It's no help that I watched the stupid new Alice in Wonderland movie.

Knight: "You called, my lord?"

Wes: *shrinking box*

Knight: "Why are we running out of time?!"

Wes: *arm wave*

Knight: "That's terrible news! What should we do?"

Wes: *bicycle*

Knight: "Truly, if we flee we may survive. It's our only choice."
