Indylord
Basically what the title says. For some reason, new games will start off at a normal 60fps, but then it suddenly drops to a rock-solid 30. Please help; I haven't run into this issue for any other of my Steam games. applebottom
Just making a wild guess... maybe too many mobs? Later in the game when there are too many beefaloes or spiders, etc it could cause lag. But that's only for DST. I'm not sure if it's same for single player. Tamazacat
It is the same in single player - a computer can only cope with so much to render.Depending on your computer specs, have you tried raising Don't Starve's priority through the task manager? (Assuming you're using Windows of some kind.)I have to do that from time to time if I'm running multiple programs and/or tasks while playing. You could also try lowering the game's graphical settings as a trade-off, if you're that bothered about it.
