Michi01
@ruo66You will keep all your recipes and items.I recommend you to carry rare or non-renewableitems (krampus sack, tulecite...) with youwhen you use it. Oh, and Chester is uniqueand exists only once per world. He won't followyou and his bone will turn into ash.

Michi01
@ruo66Yeah, keeping madrakes is a good idea, becausethey are pretty rare.Oh and a tipp: You know, when you build a structureand then right-click you can save it and build itlater. Try to build as many structures as possibleand fill your inventory with useful stuff!
hotflungwok
Stuff you need immediately: A good weapon & armor, walking cane, headlamp & fireflies, gold to make tools with, silk, honey or jerky, maybe some pig skin Rare or finite resources: honeycombs, green/orange/yellow gems, nitre, marble, whatever you use Bring what you need to make things, not the things themselves. Petzi
Remember that you can build things like a firepit and a crockpot and not place them immediately, these will travel into the new world with you. So you can destroy your icebox, rebuild it, and when you start your home in the new world you can immediately build all those things.
