ProVantis
I was wondering, because the ending doesn't seem right in my opinion, I want more information on other characters back stories, and things like that. I want to see something about Charlie as well. What do you "meatbags" think about this?
The Letter W
I don't mind it really. My headcanon is that when they're returned to their homes (should they find a way out) they're actually returned to the moment before they made the decision to come to the island. If they can remember in time, they're fine. If not, well, the cycle just continues.
J192
I want the ending where everybody sits on the chair at the same time. Forever.
Bearry
I find the ending pretty good actually.Turns out Maxwell is not that bad a person after all.And once Maxwell dies, Wilson takes the throne and the cycle goes on forever.Harsh cliffhanger, but appropriate for such a gothic theme game. Bearry
Wilson make another portal and he escaped through that special portal. He went back to the actual world, and he got killed by his experiments and forgot to make a Meat Effgy.Morale of the story: You will still die in the end. Hugo M.
Don't Starve's Ending: THERE IS NO END. The end.
Mobbstar
THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END IS LOADING THE END IS NEVER THE END IS NEVER THE END But seriously, if you mean the lore ending, that's not there yet. There's occasional riddles popping up, revealing more backstory. But for Adventure mode, it's a fine ending I think.
TheHipster
Well you could say Maxwell was trapped in the world by Charlie. c;(I watched a very creepy video about this.)

oCrapaCreeper
According to Kevin DST takes place sometime after Wilson and Maxwell swapped places, so I think eventually they are going to explain what happened between Wilson taking the throne and DST. Most of DS's lore isn't explained in-game though (Rather in puzzles and secret pages and videos), it doesn't go anything further than Adventure Mode and some of Maxwell's quotes. ProVantis
Yea one of Maxwell's quotes, when being in the dark and attacked is something like "Charlie, its me, Remember" Although thats a rough guess, the quote is something along those lines. One of the things I <3 about Don't Starve is that there are hidden puzzles in trailers etc.
