Making the Old Bell

I am about to farm the blueprint for the Old Bell and currently I have the Glommer Wings from my first Glommer who died to Hounds. But I currently have a 2nd Glommer that I am very attached to. At next full moon can I get another flower as I farm the blueprint? In short, can I get a 2nd Glommer Flower without losing my current Glommer? Thanks!

First, you dont need to farm the blueprint. Just break the statue and it will drop.

 

And no. you need to kill glommer in order for a new flower to spawn.

So if I use my current Glommer Flower to build the Bell, what happens to Glommer? I actually need to kill him before another will spawn next full moon?

 

And what's an easy way to kill him innocently? I'm thinking take him with me when I next face Hounds?

The glommer flower you use to make the Old Bell is the discoloured flower left behind once Glommer has died (plus the wings are only obtainable by Glommer dying). So, yeah, glommer has to die to make an old bell.

 

Hounds are fine, catcoons do a pretty good job too. Personally, I usually wait until the first night of the full moon, and force attack Glommer to kill him (CTRL- and attack him). Krampus will spawn, but as it's night, he'll fall asleep , and killing him (or them, if multiple Krampus spawn) isn't a huge risk if you have some sort of armour/helmet.

 

On the second night of the full moon, grab the fresh flower from the Glommer statue.
