Yes, Well making tents increase your sanity + health really easy, Whilst taking away some food, after sleeping in it for a while, come out and eat some meatballs, easy fix.

 

make sure to farm spiders, Only destroy the nest if there are lots of spiders around, or if it has three uhm.. "tops" on it. If it is killed with 3 "tops" it will drop spider eggs, for another spider nest.

Keep in mind that rock lobsters eat any type of mineral, effectively ruining progression in base construction, as well as making tools, etc.
