The Wooden Thing and Survival Mode

Hi everybody,

 

Here is my idea : For now, making the wooden thing in survival mode just let you go to another world with  same caracteristics of the previous one, and with four objects. I think this is not fun at all.

 

I think it would be awesome if making the wooden thing in survival mode let us go to another world with different caracteristics of the previous one, harder than the previous one, with other creatures or events specific of this world.

 

That would make the experience of the game different for each world, create more challenge each time, and create a real goal for the player.

 

What do you think about it ?

 

Hope some of you will reply, and tell their opinion about it.

yeah some people already mentionned that, perhaps random each time would be very funny! :)

The real problem is that, when you have succeed to create the wooden thing, it is really easier to survive in the next world, because you can keep lot of things and the world is not harder than the previous one.

 

I have a game in world 3 on the vanilla version, and there is no longer challenge, i know i can survive. So i don't continue this game. (Now, i have start to play Reign of Giant, and this is a cool add on :)  !)

 

An easy way to make the next world harder than the previous one would be :

- You start from nothing, like the first world, you can't keep any object

- You have 20% less life than the previous world

- Hunger decrease 20% faster

- Sanity decrease 20% faster

 

It is a survival game, but if there is no challenge to survive, this is less fun !
