Can't find glommer

Barbarian

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this is a bug or just bad luck or something, but I picked glommer's flower on the full moon, but no glommer appeared.

I thought maybe he got killed off-screen - there were several werepigs running around.  So the next full moon I went back, but still no glommer, or the next.

I've looked around and can't find any evidence of any lurking glommers - glommer's goop or whatever it's called (hadn't played for a few months before this).

Any tips?

It is possible for Glommer to get killed before you arrive. I have a world where his statue is situated very close to a pig village. Sometimes I go over there just to find his wings and goop nearby.

The best thing to do is to keep track of the moon cycle and get to the statue before night so you can snag the flower before anything bad happens.

This last time I was there before the full moon, and still no glommer, though I know there were werepigs around again - it was the 2nd full moon night and I wasn't early enough to get the sleeping pigs back into their houses

I'll try destroying the flower as Orian34 suggests though and see what happens.

Well we may never know - before the next full moon the Bearger arrived, for some reason I didn't get a warning and suddenly he was just hanging around near my camp fire at twilight, so I thought, 'Ok, he seems docile, I'll just wait till morning and then lead him away somewhere else', but in the middle of the night he suddenly got angry and that was the end of that.
