Natabear
I had a bunch of traps sitting over rabbit holes when I first started this (RoG) save, and they caught me tons of rabbits. Once winter hit, the traps stopped catching anything. Spring came and I saw that the holes themselves were out of commission, but now it's summer and the rabbits are out again. My traps do nothing. I can pick them up, see the durability, place them back or even bait them but I get nothing.
Mobbstar
can you try chasing a rabbit from it's burrow into one of the traps? (from the burrow, so that it can't escape)
Natabear
Yeah, nothing would work. I ended up replacing every single trap and I'm able to catch 'em now. Something about the traps I had down was bugged. So now even when the new traps catch rabbits, the old traps still won't. I had an encounter with Deerclops in this area before, so I'm guessing maybe he rampaged over them and they got buggy.
Abenlen
I've had that issue before. Picking up the bugged trap and moving it to a different place made it start working for me again.
Helion83
Had the same problem. Didn't bother me until I needed nightmare fuel then it got annoying. As you say, resetting the traps works fine.
brummbar7
Had the traps caught a rabbit, which subsequently died and left a drop under the trap? All with you never visiting the area? I've had this happen and my suspicion is that it has to do with the rabbits getting caught, and dieing in the trap, all while the player never sees it. I think maybe the graphic doesn't get switched to the 'sprung' look, so it appears to be set when in fact it triggered, and the rabbit died.
