DiabloGordito Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Such a great game and so glad it arrived on the Vita or I would have never known about this hidden gem. However it is a gem with a flaw, and a large one at that. As most vita users will be aware this game suffers in parts and we see significant frame rate issues dotted all over sometimes relatively harmless and others causing death and overall ruining the experience. It is such an awesome game and If you read this and have experienced similar issues or own a vita and are thinking of getting the game (Of course you would it's one of the best games for the system) then please post and show the development team that more must be done to deliver the same experience they have done on other platforms. Because as it stands it seems like a few tweaks here and there may be all that is needed to get a steady frame rate and get this game running the way it was meant to. Its impossible to play, u cant build a properly base, u cant have many things on screen, u cant play winter, u cant play summer. The game is literally unplayable.The framerate drop is so strong, it seens like u playing in slow motion.Its so sad, i love the game on ps4, but the vita version is meant to make some money. The game is not that graphics and processors hight requered.IMO i just have this idea.if u release somethin, u should at least suport. Even if they dont fix that, cross-save should be added, when i get home i can play on ps4 with no slow motion. When i say slow motion dude, its a really ***** slow motion.... Which is why Don't Starve runs so well on it. And the Vita is worse than most home computers. There is nothing that Klei can do a8out it, I'm not even sure if they c8n optimize it any further. I don't see what they could "support" the single-player version of the game is 8asically finished. And there isn't anything they can do a8out the Vita 8eing awful. English simply isn't the easiest language to learn, and blazingice, I've seen at least one mistake in your posts as well (not counting the 8s). So, let's not fight over something stupid as language. On topic, I honestly don't experience a lot of slowdown. Sure, in winter the pengulls can cause some slowdown, but you can take them down one by one by pushing one away at a time.
