While you are full, the stomach icon is healthy and larger which shrivels up as you go hungrier. Sanity is represented by a Brain, it is a healthy brain if you are sane which shrivels up the more you go insane. As for your health, it is represented by the Heart shape, which shrivels up just the same. What I'm trying to suggest here is that, if we have a visual representation of the stomach for hunger, and a brain for sanity. Then why not an actual visual representation of a human heart for health? That would also shrivel up when your health is low and not just a heart symbol. Shown below is the mock-up of the idea I had. (keyword, mock-up.) The reason I'm suggesting this, is because I think a human heart shape fits the theme better than a heart symbol for representing health. That's it. I will say though, that I searched the forums for any specific post about the idea and used the search terms: heart shape symbol which didn't result anything close to what I had in mind. If by any chance I missed a thread post about this same thing, forgive me. Another thing I want to add is that, we've had the heart symbol for so long and I understand if this suggestion would be ignored. If mods think I should post this elsewhere, feel free to move/delete this post. Thanks for the read everyone! But really though a human heart shape fits Don't Starve better, right? I really get annoyed by all the Anti-Cannibalism stuff here that keeps using overreaction just because one person acted like some kind of 'victim' then everybody agreed just for the SJ points. Just saying. it seems you didn't understood what i was saying :1 i say perhaps to introduce my suggestion, then i told what i was thinking about why the devs do not put the true heart in the game(they've could done that before).And i used a reference about the long pig debate because it seemed similar...i never said anything about my opinion about the tru heart thing(and btw, i don't care as long as it's great)... However, don't starve is drawn cartoonistic (cartoonish?), and an actual representation of a human heart does not fit in that theme. Think about it, almost every cartoon character would have his/her brain or stomach drawn in the don't starve style as of now. But the heart has almost always been the symbol. And honestly i prefer the current version, as i am now used to that animation and i think it would fit the drawing style better. But it wouldn't fit Don't Starve art, and it'd most likely look too complicated for the badge (the other two are rounded and smoothened a lot, but a literal heart wouldn't really be recognizable that way).
