[Gameplay] - Shooting a CEO fails the mission to recover data

Issue Title: Shooting a CEO fails the mission to recover data

Issue Description: If you shoot a CEO the process of recovering data is triggered (tells you to stay close...) but if you move closer to the target once he's down, the event will result in a failure due to the distance between you and the CEO (his brain immediately melts or something along those lines).

Steps to Reproduce: Shoot a VIP from some distance (more than 5 tiles?), get closer to him.

The purpose of these missions are to extract data from someone's brain! Shooting him will kill his brain, thus the mission will fail.

 

In your case the mission did not fail immediately when you shot him for some reason, it did in my game, though, when I tested what would happen when you killed the CEO.

Use of D.A.R.T. weaponry (ranged K.O.) will also fail the mission if you are too far away when he falls.  I learned this when I had to KO him at range just to get to him, due to several other guards that spawned in his room.

Hi,

 

Sorry, i notice this wasn't clear, i shot the "manager" or what he's called with DART, not with a leathal weapon. The event triggers : "stay close..." It's only when i moved closer to him that the event triggered off : "you've gone too far..." Don't know what would have happened if i wasn't moving. Sorry again.

I did indeed misunderstood and was like, well… duh! In this case; KO-ing (shooting) a CEO from a distance with a DART gun or similar greater than 6 tiles (including CEO tile) potentially fails the mission. I say potentially, because you didn't get the chance to see what happened if you stayed away from the CEO (which would still be a bug). Did the elevator doors open after you failed in this manner?

This is indeed similar to the question you asked earlier in the forum. You seem to have a lot of problems with CEO’s lately. But now you know it’s not just you :livid:

It triggered, yes, it's there is core of problem, Central asks player to stay close for connection, but mission triggered whenever CFO loose consciousness no matter how far agents are

There need second requirement for trigger (distance) or, in case if adding second requirement is impossible (I doesn't know anything about programming and lua), change in mission description (Central should warn that if CFO loose consciousness before agents come close, access to brain implant would be permanently blocked)

 

exit opened in that mission (as far as I remember it closed only in Final/Insomniac and maybe "Friendly convesation" missions) so it can be completed even without approaching CFO, but it's really sadly to choose some extremely guarded CFO mission with hopes finally get some cash from some vault, after that invade nanofab etc, but lose everything only because there is no any hint that mission can be failed by shooting rich guy from dart gun
