Zeyn Posted October 29, 2014 Share Posted October 29, 2014 Hello, I discovered Don't Starve few weeks ago, and what a good game ! Really great job for those who created the game ! I was thinking of it : It would be very nice to have a section Record in the game (better than the Morgue section). It could be divide like this : Personal Record / Friends Record / World Record ; (Friends would be Steam Friends that own the game, for example) And for each of those category, we can divide like this : Classical Mode (Default) / Harder Mode (Défault Plus) / Lights Out Mode / Custom Game (for now, record in a classical mode and in a custom game are not separate, and the difficulty can be very different !). With this system, we could play to beat our own record, or to beat a friend, or, for the best players, trying to beat the world record ! Sorry if my english was not correct, not my native language ! Longest survivalAverage survivalLast 10 games survival Just to name a few things. There is quite a lot of statistics you can add to this section. Records could be available only if you use accepted mods, like language mods for example. I don't know what you means with console commands cheats. In that way, the game would take a new dimension in my opinion. And developpers could create new official worlds/difficulties, for new experiences of the game, and new records ! Zeyn Posted November 16, 2014 Author Share Posted November 16, 2014 Some new ideas : Developpers could create two kinds of records : Survival (we have to survive the longest as possible) and Speedrun (we have to create and activate the Wooden Thing the fastest as possible). The game could show a message like "Felicitation, you have survived 12 more days than your previous record in this world" or "Congratulation, you have created the Wooden Thing in 8 less days than your previous record in this world" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hi there, A Personnal Record Section which differenciate Classical Mode (Default) / Harder Mode (Défault Plus) / Lights Out Mode / Custom Game (available only if you don't play without mods, to avoid cheating), would it be so hard to do ? Are you sure you're in the right subforum? I thought i were mading some suggestions, that's why i choosed Suggestions and Feedback subforum. Do you think about another one?
