Just plant lure plants close to hives, to kill red bess and farm those hives. You can deal with hounds using thoots traps or swamp. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The red hounds will set everything a blaze and you will probably burn to death.I would suggest making tooth traps. You should be able to kill first few waves of hounds and then use those teeth to make tooth traps. You may not have alot at first but build it up over time.
